Reducing rings may only be used if they are made in accordance
with the manufacturer’s specification.

Wrench extensions or striking tools must not be used for tightening.
The allocation of the clamping flange diameter to the saw blade
diameter is in accordance with European standards, e.g.
DIN-EN 1870-1, Chapter 3.2.3.
Wear safety gloves, close-fitting clothing and possibly ear
protectors. After mounting the circular saw blade, replace all
protective devices on the machine properly; if present, position
the splitting wedge correctly.
A test run should be performed by an expert.

Do not reach into the area of the rotating tool.
Keep anyone not involved in the work out of the danger zone.
Do not make any adjustments in the area of the rotating tool.
Pay attention to imbalance.
The cutting edges of saw blades must not come into contact with
any other blades, fixing elements or other machine components
when they are running. Bore reduction rings must adhere securely
to the saw blade and must not protrude over the body of the
saw blade.
Loose reduction rings must not be used.
Reduction rings must only be so large in diameter that the
circular saw blade can still be mounted securely.
Never leave the machine running unattended.

Action must be taken to prevent kickback, and the corresponding
devices must be used.

Examine the workpiece you wish to saw for foreign matter.

Sharpen the circular saw blade at regular intervals. The following
are signs of a dull tool: excessive wear marks on the cutting edges,
chipped cutting edges, a poor-quality cut, excessive power con-
sumption by the sawing machine.

Saw blades with teeth that are thinner and / or shorter than
1 mm must be taken out of operation.

Circular saw blades may only be sharpened by an expert and
repaired with original parts. Experts are persons who have the
relevant technical training and experience, are familiar with the
demands on the design and construction of circular saw blades,
and understand the achievable safety regulations.

Repair of circular saw blades is only permitted in accordance
with the manufacturer’s instructions and must take the following
into account: the construction of the saw blade must not be
altered. All safety regulations must be complied with. The
tolerances for correct mounting must be observed.

Clean using suitable special agents only.
