TP - Twisted Pair Receiver for RGBHV, Composite Video,
and Audio
FeATures
• Input: Two female RJ-45 connectors
• Outputs: Computer-video on female BNCs, PC audio on female RCA connectors
and captive screw connector; composite video on female BNC and audio on
female RCA connectors and captive screw connector
• Supports RGBHV, RGBS,RGsB, compon e nt video, S-video, and composite video
• Receives signals 1,000 feet (300 meters) or more over Category 5, 5e, or
6 UTP cable
• Four stereo audio outputs, balanced/unbalanced
• Automatic and manual level and peaking adjustments
• Choice of output sync format, DIP switch selectable
• Rack, through-desk, under-desk, and projector-mountable
• Internal international power supply — The 100-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz, universal power
supply provides worldwide power compatibility.
descriPTion
The Extron TP R BNC AV RGB receiver accepts long distance transmissions of analog
computer-video with PC audio and NTSC, PAL, and SECAM composite video with stereo audio on
any CAT 5, 5e, or 6 twisted pair cable or with Extron Enhanced Skew-Free
™ A/V UTP cable.
The TP R BNC AV is compatible with nearly every computer and video signal type, including
VGA-UXGA, component video, S-video, and composite NTSC, PAL, and SECAM video, as well
as stereo audio signals. Special image enhancement features, such as automatic and manual
level and peaking adjustments, give the TP R BNC AV the ability to compensate for cable
length and to improve the brightness and sharpness of both the computer-video image and
the composite video image.
