Product Description

The Ei2110 is a Multi-Sensor Fire Alarm that contains two
separate sensing elements

– optical and heat. Using i-fire®

intelligence to monitor two different byproducts of fire, its response
to all fire types is vastly improved over traditional single sensor
alarms. It’s ability to respond quickly to both fast flaming and
smoldering fires, simplifies alarm choice for the designated rooms /
areas.

The new sensor chamber design, i-fire® intelligence and the
unique dust compensation feature, combine to reduce the
frequency of nuisance alarms.

The dust compensation automatically adjusts for any
contamination within the optical sensor chamber, resulting in
increased longevity and robustness.

The Ei2110 runs on 230V AC mains power. In the event of mains
failure, the 10 Year+ built in tamper-proof rechargeable Lithium
cells will provide back-up supply and continuous operation.

The E2110 also has hardwired

ontrol capability, enabling

it to be interconnected to and communicate with compatible Ei
smoke/heat alarms and accessories. Up to twelve alarms can be
interconnected, which will cause all alarms to sound when one unit
senses fire.

The Ei2110 is supplied with an easi-fit base that allows quick and
simple installation of the alarm, combined with simple alarm head
removal and replacement.

Connecting the Ei2110 to an Ei168RC easi-fit RadioLINK base
enables the remote control functionality to be performed wirelessly,
eliminating the need for hard wired interconnections.

Operation

The green indicator will illuminate to show mains power is
present and the device is in standby mode.

On receipt of a fire alarm signal the red LED will flash rapidly
and the horn alarm will turn on. When the alarm has been
cleared the device will remember the event and the red LED
will emit two slow flashes every 40 sec for 24 hours.

When the Ei2110 receives an external fire signal from another
smoke/heat/multi-sensor device via interconnect or RadioLINK
the horn alarm will turn on.

Pressing and holding the “Test/Hush” button while the device
is in

standby state,

will perform a test on the alarm. This

checks the sensors, electronics and sounder.

Pressing and holding the “Test/Hush” button on a device that
has alarmed in past 24 hours, will cause the alarm to emit
short beeps. This can aid in identifying the unit that has
previously triggered the entire alarm system.

Pressing and releasing the “Test/Hush” button when the
device is in alarm will silence the unit by reducing its
sensitivity. The unit will automatically reset after 10 minutes

When hardwired or RadioLINK interconnected to other Ei
mains powered alarms, an alarm on one device will trigger all
other interconnected alarms (only the triggered alarm will have
a rapidly flashing red indicator)

When a low back-up battery condition is sensed, the device
will emit a single beep and red LED flash every 40 seconds.

The Amber Led will flash once every 40 seconds, to indicate a
device fault condition.
