In the case of damage resulting from non-compliance with these operating
instructions the guarantee claim becomes invalid! No liability is accepted for
consequential damage! In the case of material damage or personal injury
caused by incorrect handling or non-compliance with the safety instructions,
no liability is accepted!
DANGER OF DEATH AND ACCIDENTS
FOR TODDLERS AND CHILDREN! Never leave children
unsupervised with the packaging material. The packaging
material represents a danger of suffocation. Children frequently underestimate
the dangers. Please keep children away from the device at all times.
This device is not a toy and should not be played by children. Children
are not able to understand the dangers that can occur when handling
this device.
Children or other individuals who do not know or have no experience of
handling this device, or whose physical, sensory or mental abilities are
restricted, must not use the device without supervision or instruction by
an individual responsible for their safety. Children must be supervised in
order to ensure that they do not play with the device.
CAUTION! RISK OF OVERHEATING! Do not operate the product
in the packaging.
CAUTION! RISK OF OVERHEATING! Replace faulty bulbs 7
immediately with new bulbs 4 . Make sure that the type, operating voltage
and wattage are correct. Never use other than the stated bulbs 7 .
Do not pull the string of lights 1 and make sure it is laid down properly
so that no one walks or trips over it.
The string of lights 1 can be used on all normally inflammable surfaces.
Do not attach any additional objects to the string of lights 1 .
Avoid the danger of
death from electric shock!
Before use, ensure that the mains voltage available is the same as the
required operating voltage for the device (230 V ∼).
Before connecting to the mains, always check the product for any damage.
Never use the product if you find damage of any kind.
If the cable is damaged, the product must be taken out of use and disposed
of correctly.
Only use the string of lights 1 with the supplied power pack 3 for the
type (Model No. TH-P030020); all warranty claims will otherwise expire.
Use the string of lights 1 with the supplied original accessories only.
Never open any of the electrical parts or insert any kind of objects into them.
Protect the product from sharp edges, mechanical loads and hot surfaces.
Do not install with sharp fasteners or nails.
Always unplug the power pack
3 from the socket before installation,
dismantling, maintenance or cleaning.
Never touch the light chain plug or the string of lights 1 itself with wet hands.
Use the lighting with the parts described in these instructions only.
The string of lights
1 must not be electrically connected to another set
of lights.
If the string of lights 1 are not in use for any length of time (e.g. holidays),
disconnect them from the power supply.
After use, keep the string of lights 1 in the packaging to prevent unwanted
damage.
Keep away from ponds and other water reservoirs. Install the string of
lights 1 at least 2 metres away from water containers. Avoid place that
might flood after heavy rainfall.
If using the string of lights 1 outdoors, make sure it is connected to a
socket which is protected with a faulty voltage protection switch (FI or RCD)
for a maximum faulty voltage up to 30 mA.
