piece between the king and the attacking piece,
thereby protecting the king. Checkmate occurs when
the king cannot be saved by any of the above coun-
termoves and will inevitably be captured in the fol-
lowing move.

Draws

Games can occur in which neither player can place
the opponent in checkmate. Such games end in a
draw. Both players must agree to the draw.

Cleaning and Care

Do not under any circumstances use corrosive

or abrasive cleaning agents. These may damage
the product.

Use a slightly dampened, non-fluffing cloth to
clean the product.

Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recy-

clable materials, which you may dispose
of at local recycling facilities.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more
details of how to dispose of your worn-out product.
