Damaged poles or other components should
be replaced by new ones.

J

Small leaks on the seams can be repaired with

Q

Assembly

Tip: Before setting out on your journey you should
familiarise yourself with the structure of your tent
and erect it. Check whether all of the parts are pre-
sent and in perfect condition.

Q

Selecting a pitch

j

The ground should be flat, clean and as

smooth as possible.

j

Before you erect your tent, remove any pointed

and sharp objects (e.g. stones, branches etc.).

j

Please ensure that the tent is positioned in such

a way that its entrance is protected against the
wind.

j

You should remember that it is not allowed to

erect tents everywhere. In most European coun-
tries camping is only permitted on officially au-
thorised campsites and on private land with the
permission of the landowner.

j

When selecting a pitch for your tent, remember

that you need not only an area for the floor of
the tent, but also room for the guy ropes.

j

You should also ensure that there is enough

space to walk around the tent and that there
are no tripping hazards.

j

Please maintain an adequate distance to other

tents.
