Introduction
Thank you for buying a TRONIC product. The TRONIC TLGL 1000 A1 universal charger,
hereinafter called "charger", has been designed to charge NiMH, NiCd and Li-Ion batteries. The
charger also features a USB port for charging battery-powered devices with USB charging socket
(like MP3 players).
Intended use
The charger is intended to be used exclusively to charge NiMH, NiCd and Li-Ion batteries and
devices with a USB charging socket. It can charge NiMH and NiCd batteries of the following sizes:
AA/Mignon, AAA/Micro, C/Baby and D/Mono. Any use other than that mentioned above does
not correspond to the intended use. This charger may not be used outdoors or in tropical climates.
This charger has not been designed for corporate or commercial applications. Use the charger in
domestic environments for private applications only. Any use other than that does not correspond to
the intended use. This charger fulfils all relevant norms and standards concerning CE conformity.
Any modifications to the charger other than recommended changes by the manufacturer may result
in these norms no longer being met. The manufacturer shall not be liable for any damage or
malfunctions resulting therefrom. Only use accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
Observe the regulations and laws in the country of use.

Overview
These operating instructions have a fold-out cover. On the inside of the cover is a diagram of the
charger with the components numbered. The meanings of the numbers are as follows:

2 Charging contacts for Li-Ion batteries
3 USB port (on the right side)
4 Li-Ion battery holder
5 Charging slots (A to D)
6 LED status indicators
