INSTRUCTIONS FOR:

AIR ERASER KIT

2.1

INTRODUCTION

Metal body construction with built-in gravity feed pot and 0.5mm nozzle. Ideal for removing paint, rust

and colour errors. Can also be used for cleaning and matting metal parts. Includes 1.9mtr small bore air

hose, 150g pot of Aluminium Oxide, disposable face mask and wall mount fixing. Supplied in storage case.

• Air eraser with 0.5mm nozzle and built in gravity feed pot • 1.9mtr of small bore hose

• Wall mounting bracket

• Disposable face mask

• 150g pot of Aluminium Oxide

WARNING! Ensure that Health and Safety, local authority and general workshop practice regulations are

adhered to when using tools.

WARNING! Air erasers produce a spray of abrasive material which may be harmful to inhale.

Always wear a suitable breathing mask as supplied in the kit.

Also take measures to protect the eyes and skin from contact with abrasive material. A full range of

personal safety equipment is available from your Sealey Dealer.

DO NOT operate the air eraser near other people unless they are wearing the same protective equipment.

DO NOT eat or drink when using the air eraser.

DO NOT allow smoking or open flame in the work area.

Ensure that the air eraser and accessories are in a clean, sound condition and good working order. Take

action for immediate repair or replacement of damaged parts. Use recommended parts only.

The use of unauthorised parts may be dangerous and will invalidate the warranty.

Ensure the air eraser supply hose is not tangled, twisted or pinched.

DO NOT use air eraser or accessories if damaged.

DO NOT operate air eraser while under the influence of drugs, alcohol or intoxicating medication, or if

fatigued.

DO NOT direct spray against yourself, other persons or animals or electrical equipment.

DO NOT use the air eraser for a task it is not designed to perform.

Always ensure adequate ventilation in the work area.

Always disconnect from the air supply before dismantling the air eraser for cleaning and maintenance.

DO NOT leave the air eraser connected to the air supply when unattended.

3. ASSEMBLY

3.1

Ensure the pot (fig.1C) is securely screwed into the body of the air eraser.

3.2

Screw one end of the air hose onto the air hose connection underneath the air eraser trigger (fig.1E) and

the other end onto the air supply.

3.3

To use a compressor such as the Sealey Model No: AB900, use the adaptor supplied with the

compressor to connect the air hose.

NOTE: The maximum air supply to the air eraser should never exceed 65psi. Normal operating pressure is

approx 30-45psi.
