1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

3.1

USING THE PULLERS

3.1.1 Carefully select the appropriate puller and curvature for the job in hand.

3.1.2 For slight dents and creases the tool can be pulled by hand.

3.1.3 With more severe dents and creases, use of chassis straighteners DZRE84/C or DZRE92/C is recommended.

Refer to DZRE84/C or DZRE92/C instructions for detailed information.

ALWAYS! Use in conjunction with a safety cable to prevent injury in the event of the puller slipping during pulling

operation (See item RE92/SC).

p WARNING! Ensure all Health and Safety, local authority, and general workshop practice regulations are strictly

adhered to when using the puller.

7 DO NOT use puller if damaged or worn.

3 Maintain the puller in good and clean condition for best and safest performance.

3 Always check that puller is correctly assembled and is square with the workpiece.

3 If vehicle is raised, ensure it is adequately supported with axle stands, ramps, etc. as

appropriate.

3 Wear suitable clothing to avoid snagging. Do not wear jewellery and tie back long hair.

3 Wear approved eye protection. A full range of personal safety equipment is available from your Sealey dealer.

3 Where possible shield workpiece with canvas or similar to provide protection against failed parts.

7 DO NOT hit workpiece with a hammer if workpiece has not moved with maximum puller force applied. Use a larger

capacity puller.

7 DO NOT use the puller for a task it is not designed to perform.
