If installation doesn’t continue after a moment, make sure you

securely connected the USB cable and turned on the Artisan 710 Series.

register your Artisan 710 Series.

Make sure the Artisan 710 Series is

NOT CONNECTED to your computer.

Insert the Artisan 710 Series software CD.

Double-click the

Epson icon.

Click

Install and follow the on-screen instructions.

When you see this screen, select

Install driver for direct USB

connection and then click Next.

When prompted, connect a USB cable. Use any open USB port on your
computer. Make sure the Artisan 710 Series is securely connected and
turned on.

If you’re using Mac OS X 10.5.x, skip to step 9.

If you’re using Mac OS X 10.3.9 or 10.4.11, continue with the next step.

using a USB cable (not included).

NOT CONNECTED to your computer.

If you see a Found New Hardware screen, click

Cancel and disconnect

the USB cable. You can’t install your software that way.

Insert the Artisan 710 Series software CD.

, if you see the AutoPlay

window, click

Run Setup.exe. When you see the

User Account Control screen, click

Continue.
