 WARNING! The use of winches and winch cables needs to be approached with caution and respect for the hazards involved.
Cables under tension can store considerable energy which, if released suddenly, has the potential to cause serious injury or loss
of life.
 NEVER stand near or straddle a winch cable under tension or one that is likely to come under tension. If a cable breaks, the ends
can whip over a wide area.
 DO NOT attach the cable hook back onto the cable; always use a separate attachment point to save damaging the cable.
 Always plan and rehearse any winching activity to identify and exclude potential hazards.
 Ensure that any anchor points used have sufficient strength to withstand the load being placed on them.
 If using trees as anchor points, use slings sensitively so as not to cause damage.
 Keep children and bystanders well away from any winching activity.
 Refer to winch manufacturer's instruction manual for full safety guidance.
Self Recovery Kit increases pulling capacity, changes pulling direction and is essential for getting the most out of an ATV or recovery winch.
Includes 2 x shackles, snatch block and 2 x tree/post slings. .
Supplied kit in a black heavyweight nylon case.
