3. OPERATION

WARNING! Always use this tool with the cylinder head removed from the vehicle to avoid carbon entering the cylinder

bores which may damage the engine.

3.1 Remove the injector and sealing washer from the cylinder head.

3.2 Select the appropriate reamer and fit onto the centring pilot, align the hex screw with the flat on the pilot and tighten using

the 2.5mm hex key supplied.

3.3 Connect the T-Bar to the centring pilot and position the tool into the injection aperture.

3.4 Apply a small amount of lubricant to the injector seat and gently turn the reamer in a clockwise direction, until all the

carbon deposits have been removed.

DO NOT apply too much pressure and apply more lubricant if required.

WARNING! Take care not to cut into the metal seat.

the current procedure and data.
