This bead breaker is only recommended for sTeel rims.

bead breaking (see fig.1)

2.1.

Deflate the tyre by removing the valve core.

2.2.

Secure the foot in the body by inserting the split pin.

2.3.

Fit the handle into the socket and secure using the split pin on the wedge chain.

2.4.

Force the two claws under the rim holding the handle whilst applying pressure to the serrated pedal.

2.5.

Slide the wedge into the inside of the rim with the chamfer outward( see fig.2).

2.6.

Remove the split pin from the body to release the foot and screw down using a 24mm spanner or socket to force the bead away from

the rim..

2.7.

Slacken off the foot, move around the rim and repeat in several places.

2.8.

When one bead is free, turn the wheel over and repeat to break the other bead.

Familiarise yourself with the applications, limitations and any possible or potential hazards of the bead breaker.

Maintain the

bead breaker in good condition.

Replace or repair damaged parts. Use genuine parts only. Unauthorised parts may be dangerous and will invalidate the warranty.

WarninG! check regularly for damaged parts. Any part that is damaged must be repaired or replaced before the equipment is next used.

Wear approved safety eye protection.

Maintain correct balance and footing. Ensure the floor is not slippery and wear non-slip safety shoes.

Keep children and unauthorised persons away from the work area.

do noT use the bead breaker for any purpose other than that for which it is designed.

do noT operate the bead breaker if any parts are damaged or missing as this may cause failure and/or personal injury.

do noT allow untrained persons to operate the bead breaker.

do noT operate the bead breaker when you are tired or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or intoxicating medication.
