GENERAL SAFETY

WARNING! Ensure Health & Safety, local authority, and general workshop practice regulations are adhered to when using this tool.

WARNING! This kit contains glue. If you require a safety data sheet, contact your Sealey dealer.

WARNING! Familiarise yourself with the specific applications and limitations of the kit, as well as any potential hazards.

This kit should be used in conjunction with inspection maintenance procedures recommended in the vehicle manufacturer’s manual.

Ensure that the kit is correct for the task.

Wear the appropriate personal protective equipment for the task. A full range is available from your Sealey dealer.

DO NOT use the kit

for any purpose other than that for which it is designed.

Ensure that the vehicle is properly supported with axle stands before working under the vehicle.

Ensure there is adequate lighting prior to using the kit. A range of inspection lamps are available from your Sealey dealer.

Keep children and unauthorised persons away from the working area.

DO NOT use the kit if any parts are damaged or missing, as this may cause failure and/or personal injury.

DO NOT use the kit

when you are tired, or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or intoxicating medication.

After use, store in a safe, dry childproof area.

Ideal for repairing punctures on tubeless tyres fitted to agricultural and off road vehicles. Can also be used as a temporary/emergency fix on cars and

commercial vehicles. Allows tyre to be repaired without removing the tyre from the wheel. Not to be used as a permanent repair for road vehicles.

4. OPERATION

4.1 Remove object (causing puncture) from tyre if required.

4.2

Fit collar onto insertion needle by using hex key to undo grub screw, (see fig.1).

4.3 Clean/widen puncture hole with rasp.

4.4 Fit strip in the middle of the insertion needle, with 50% protruding from each end.

4.5 Cover the strip with glue.

4.6 Push the strip most of the way through the tyre with the insertion needle, leave 20mm of the strip sticking out.

4.7 As you pull the insertion needle back out, use your other hand to push down the collar, so that the tool nips on the strip and the strip is pulled

back out of the tyre.

4.8 There will now be a loop and 2 ends protruding from tyre, that need to be cut off.

4.9 Clean items in the kit and remove protector from insertion needle. Store kit in a safe, childproof location.
