Thank you for purchasing a Sealey product. Manufactured to a high standard this product will, if used according to these instructions and properly maintained, give

WARNING! Ensure Health and Safety, local authority and general

workshop practice regulations are adhered to when using tools.

Wear approved eye protection. A full range of personal safety

equipment is available from your Sealey dealer.

Wear suitable clothing to avoid snagging. Do not wear jewellery

and tie back long hair.

Maintain tool in good and clean condition for best and safest

performance.

When not in use, clean and lubricate tool, and store in a safe,

dry, childproof location.

WARNING! The warnings, cautions and instructions

referred to in this manual cannot cover all possible

understood that common sense and caution are factors

applied by the operator.

A quick and effective way of crimping battery terminals using either

a hammer or vice. Wide throat and spring controlled punch securely

holds terminal in place for added security. Compatable with battery

terminals with a cross sectional area of 6, 10, 16, 25, 35 and 50mm².

3. OPERATION

3.1. Select the appropriate sized terminal to fit the cable being

worked on. Strip off cable insulation to a length approximately

3mm longer than the length of the terminal barrel.

3.2. Insert stripped cable fully into battery terminal (or connector).

Lift ram of tool and place terminal on anvil so bottom of ram rests

on the middle of terminal barrel.

3.3. Strike ram with a hammer (or put tool in a vice and tighten) until

the line on the ram corresponds to the cable size used and is

even with the top of the tool.
