2. INTRODUCTION

The patented design of this pipe cutter ensures that the spring mechanism maintains the correct pressure on the pipe at all times.

Features a smooth screw action and nickel plated blade for increased cutting performance.

3. OPERATION

WARNING! Before using the pipe cutter ensure that you have read and understood the Safety Instructions in Section 1.

3.1. Place the pipe to be cut against the two rollers and turn the hand wheel to bring the blade up against the other side of the pipe

so that it is held in place under light pressure. Check that the cutter can rotate smoothly around the pipe.

3.2. If the pipe to be cut is of a soft formulation, increase the pressure until the mark on the side of the sprung roller mechanism

lines up with the 'SOFT' marking on the main body as shown in fig.2.

3.3. If the pipe to be cut is of a hard formulation, increase the pressure until the mark on the side of the sprung roller mechanism

lines up with the 'HARD' marking on the main body as shown in fig.3.

3.4. When the pressure is correctly set, begin to rotate the cutter slowly around the tube. Continue to carefully rotate the cutter until

the pipe is cut.

3.5. If the cutter is cutting too slowly, increase the pressure by turning the handwheel by a quarter turn until the pipe is cut.
