Start-up

Mounting the light

Carefully turn the glass brackets

outward.

Carefully remove the glass shade

Hold the connection housing

ceiling and mark the drill holes using the holes
in the connection housing

Drill the holes. Ensure that you do not damage
the supply line.

Insert the rawlplugs

in the drilled holes.

If necessary, use a hammer to do so.

Mount the light to the ceiling with screws

Slide the fibre glass hoses

over the power

lead (external).

Connect the power lead to the socket

Note: Ensure that each wire of the mains con-
nection cable (external) is properly connected
in the correct place: live wire, black or brown =
symbol L, neutral wire, blue = symbol N, pro-
tective earth wire, green-yellow = symbol .

Use a clean, lint-free cloth to insert a lamp

Screw the lamp

(E27 max. 40 W) clockwise

Secure the glass shade

with the shade

Insert the glass shade

in the glass brackets

, sliding them slightly outward, and secure

the glass shade

Your light is now ready to use.

Replacing lamps

CAUTION! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!

To replace the bulb, first disconnect the light from
the mains circuit. To do so, remove the fuse or switch
off the circuit breaker in the fuse box (0 position).
CAUTION! Allow the light to cool completely. Only
replace the lamp after it has completely cooled off.
Note: use a clean, lint-free cloth when to replace
a lamp.

Screw a new lamp

the glass shade.

Note: only use 220 – 240 V ∼ lamps with max.
40 Watt and E27-Sockel.

Maintenance and Cleaning

CAUTION! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!

Disconnect the light from the mains circuit before
cleaning. To do so, remove the fuse or switch off
the circuit breaker in the fuse box (0 position).

Do not use solvents, benzene or similar substances.
They could damage the light.

Allow the light to cool completely.

CAUTION! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
For electrical safety, never clean the light with
water or other fluids, or immerse it in water.
Only use a dry, lint-free cloth for cleaning.

Disposal

The package and packaging materials
consist entirely of environmentally
friendly materials. They can be disposed
of at your local recycling facility.

The symbol of the wheelie bin with the
line through it means that, in the European
Union, the product has to be disposed

of in a separate refuse collection. This applies to the
product and to all components bearing this symbol.
Do not dispose of products bearing this symbol in
your normal household waste, but instead they must
be taken for recycling to a collection site for electrical
