Fit the light in such a way to en-
sure it is protected from damp
and dirt.

Before installation

Important: The electrical connection must be made
by a qualified electrician or a person authorised to
perform electrical installations. This person must be
familiar with the properties of the light and all con-
nection regulations.

Installation

Note: You will need an electric drill to install the light.

CAUTION! RISK OF INJURY! Please read

the operating instructions for your drill.

 1. Remove the plastic dome

from the light

body

. Squeeze the plastic dome

slightly to remove the dome.

 2. Hold the light body

on to the wall or ceiling

and mark the positions where the mounting
holes are to be drilled.

CAUTION! Ensure that you do not damage
any electricity cables in the wall or ceiling.

 3. Now drill the mounting holes (approx. Ø 8 mm).
 4. Insert the dowels

into the drilled holes. If

necessary use a hammer to make this easier.

 5. Push the mains connecting cable through the

hole in the light body

and fix the lamp with

the screws

into the dowels

 6. Now connect the mains connection cable to

the terminal block

Note: Ensure that each wire of the mains
connection cable is correctly connected.

 7. Mount the plastic dome

back on to the light

body

. The plastic hook of the dome must

lock into the notch in the lamp housing.

Maintenance and cleaning

DANGER TO LIFE BY ELEC-

TRIC SHOCK! Before carrying out any work on
the light, switch the electricity supply off at the fuse
box or remove the screw-in fuses from the fuse box.

DANGER TO LIFE BY ELEC-

TRIC SHOCK! For electrical safety the light must
never be cleaned with water or other liquids, or
immersed in water.

Cleaning

CAUTION! RISK OF BURNS! Switch the

light off. Allow the light to cool down completely
(at least 10 minutes).

Use a dry fluff-free cloth when you are cleaning.

Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of

recyclable materials, which you may
dispose of at local recycling facilities.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more
details of how to dispose of your worn-out product.

Under no circumstances should the

device / article and its bulbs be disposed
of with normal household rubbish.

The device / article and its bulbs should be disposed
of at an officially approved disposal centre or at
your local communal disposal facility.

Observe the applicable regulations. If you are
uncertain of what to do please contact your local
authority’s refuse disposal department.
