Placement

For best results, place your Solar lamp in a
location where sunlight shines directly onto the
collector panel 2. Direct sunlight of at least 8
hours is ideal to ensure that the battery is fully
charged. The location must be free from shadow
and shade. Make sure that the collector panel
2 is not subjected to light sources other than
sunlight. Otherwise, the lamp will not be swit-
ched on at twilight.

Putting into operation

³ Place the Solar Lamp in a suitable location.
³ Switch the function switch 1 to the ON

position.

Note:

The charging process will only start if the function
switch 1 is in the ON position. It can take a few
days until the Solar Lamp has reached its optimal
performance efficiency.

³ After the battery is charged, the solar light

turns itself on automatically at dusk.

³ Switch the function switch 1 to the OFF

position to switch off the Solar lamp.

Changing the battery

Replace the battery when the illumination time,
despite a day-long charge period, diminishes
after 2 hours of darkness.
³ Remove the screws on the collector panel 2

and take it out of the housing 5.

³ Open the battery compartment 4 on the un-

derside of the collector panel 2.

³ Remove the battery and replace it with a

new one of the same type. When inserting it,
comply with the polarities.

³ Close the battery compartment 4 and re-

place the collector panel 2 back into the
housing 5.

³ Firmly screw the collector panel 2 back

onto the housing 5.

Cleaning

Clean the collector panel 2 with a moist cloth.
Clean the housing 5 of the solar light with a soft
brush.
