Directing the lamps / Installation / Maintenance and cleaning

You can vary the height of the pendant lamp over

a wide range by moving the height adjuster

Release the screw of the cable holder

using

the hexagonal key

. Retighten the screw

when you have finished setting the height (see
Figs. C–F).

Note: The height adjuster fixes the height of
the light to the desired height (600–1200 mm).

Installation

Note: you will need an electric drill to install the
light.

CAUTION! RISK OF INJURY! Please read

the operating instructions for your drill.

Remove the screws

on the side of the con-

nection enclosure

Remove the mounting bracket

from the con-

nection enclosure.

Mark the positions for the drilled holes on the

ceiling using the predrilled holes in the mounting
bracket as a guide.

Now drill the fixing holes.

CAUTION! Ensure that you do not damage

any cables in the ceiling.

Insert the dowels

into the drilled holes.

Fix the mounting bracket to the ceiling with the

screws

Now connect the connection cable of the light

to the mains connection cable (external)

by

means of the terminal block

Note: Ensure that each wire of the mains
connection cable (external) is properly con-
nected in the correct place: live wire, black or
brown = symbol L, neutral wire, blue = symbol N,
protective earth wire, green-yellow = symbol .

Fix the light to the mounting bracket with the

screws.

Unscrew the screws

in the lamp fittings

Insert the energy-saving bulbs

and place

the lamp glasses

on the fittings. Tighten the

screws again.

Note: Use a clean, fluff-free cloth when you
are inserting a bulb.

Your light is now ready for operation.

Maintenance and cleaning

DANGER TO LIFE BY ELEC-

TRIC SHOCK! Before carrying out any work on
the light, switch the electricity supply off at the fuse
box or remove the screw-in fuses from the fuse box.

DANGER TO LIFE BY ELEC-

TRIC SHOCK! For electrical safety the light must
never be cleaned with water or other liquids, or
immersed in water.

Replacing a bulb

DANGER TO LIFE BY ELEC-

TRIC SHOCK! Before carrying out any work on
the light, switch the electricity supply off at the fuse
box or remove the screw-in fuses from the fuse box.

CAUTION! RISK OF BURNS! Allow the

light to cool down completely.
Note: Use a clean, fluff-free cloth when you are
replacing a bulb.

Use 230 V∼ energy-saving bulbs with an E14

fitting and a maximum power of 9 watt only.

Replace the bulbs in accordance with Figs. A

and B.

Cleaning

CAUTION! RISK OF BURNS! Allow the

light to cool down completely.

Do not use solvents, petrol etc.
Use a dry fluff-free cloth when you are cleaning.
