Before use, verify the available mains voltage
corresponds with the operating voltage of the
lamp (230 V∼).
Ensure that the light does not come into contact
with water or other liquids under any circum-
stances.
Always unplug from the mains before assembling,
disassembling, cleaning, or if the lamp will not
be used for extended periods.
Never open any of the components of the elec-
trical equipment or insert any objects into the
same components. This will pose a risk of fatal
injury from electric shock.
The illuminant is not replaceable.
This light is not suitable for dimmer or electronic
switches.
Prevent fire and
injury hazards
RISK OF INJURY! Check every illuminant for
damage immediately upon unpacking. Do not
install the light if the illuminants are defective.
In this case contact the service centre for a re-
placement.
Do not look directly into the light source (light
bulb, LED etc.).
Do not leave the light or packaging material ly-
ing unattended. Plastic film or bags, plastic parts
etc. can turn into dangerous toys for children.
Do not cover the lamp or the mains plug with
objects. Excessive heat can result in a fire.
Never leave the lamp unattended whilst in use.
Safe working
Mount the light so that it is protected from mois-
ture and dirt.
Carefully prepare for assembly and allow your-
self adequate time. Organise all parts and any
necessary additional tools or materials before
starting so they are easy to reach.
Always be attentive! Always pay attention to
what you are doing and use common sense.
Never assemble the lamp if you are unfocused
or feel unwell.
Start-up
Mounting the light
Note: When assembling the stand tube 5 be
sure not to damage the mains lead inside the lamp.
Unfold the floor lamp.
Insert the upper stand tube section 5 a into the
lower stand tube section 5 b .
Carefully pull the mains lead out of the stand
tube
5 .
Tighten the retaining sleeve 4 to secure the
stand tube 5 .
Screw the lower stand tube section 5 b clock-
wise into the base 7 .
Model 1252-022L: Tighten the counter-
weight
8 at the end of the lamp arm 10 .
Screw the adjustment lever 3 onto the reflec-
tor 2 .
Plug the mains plug 6 into a properly installed
socket.
Your light is now ready to use.
Adjusting the height
Loosen the retaining sleeve 4 .
Adjust the floor lamp to the desired height.
Tighten the retaining sleeve 4 .
Note: Retighten the retaining sleeve 4 if it loosens
and the lamp adjusts in height.
Switching the lamp on / off
Switch the lamp on or off using the ON / OFF
switch
1 on the reflector 2 .
Adjusting the reflector
Note: Only adjust the reflector 2 with the light
switched off.
Note: Retighten the locking lever
9 if the lamp
arm 10 on model 1252-022L changes in position.
