Q

How to use

note: The light has a motion sensor that reacts to
temperature changes. The sensor works best at an
ambient temperature below 20 °C. A moving object
at a temperature close to the ambient temperature
is only detected with great difficulty.

note: The controls are at the front of the lamp,
above the motion sensor

8

(Fig. A).

The range of the motion sensor

8

is approx. 6 - 8

(+ / -1 - 2 m) if the lamp is installed at a height of
1.80 to 2.50 m (Fig. H). It has a roughly 100°
detection radius (Fig. I).

clockwise to increase the sensitivity of the light.

j

Turn the control to regulate the light sensitivity

7

anti-clockwise to decrease the sensitivity of the
light.

note: When the lamp is switched on, the light
sensitivity sensor is switched off so that even despite
the brightness from the light movements can still be
detected.

Q

regulating the duration

of the illumination

The amount of time the light stays on can be set to a
value between approx. 4 - 5 and 240 - 300 seconds.

j

Open the hinged lid

9

in order to be able to

operate the control to regulate duration of light

5

.

j

Turn the control to regulate the duration of the
illumination

5

clockwise to increase the dura-

tion of the illumination.

j

Turn the control to regulate the duration of the
illumination

5

anti-clockwise to decrease the

duration of the illumination.

note: After the motion detector has switched the
light on, the light will stay on for the set period of time.
If during this period a new movement is detected,
the time the light stays on for will be extended by
the set period of time.

Q

replacing the illuminant

j

Make sure that the lamp is dead, i.e. not live.
To do so, remove the fuse or move the switch
of the fuse in your sub-distribution to “

0”.

j

The lamp can get very hot when in use. If nec-
essary, allow the lamp to cool down for about
15 minutes.

j

Remove the lamp shade

1

and the sealing

ring

3

by screwing the lamp shade

1

out of

the lamp housing

4

.

j

Remove the illuminant

2

from the base.

j

Insert a new illuminant with a suitable base
and of an appropriate wattage (see section on
“Technical data”).

j

Screw the lamp shade

1

back onto the lamp

body

4

.

j

Switch the electrical power back on.
