Wall mounting

Note: you will need an electric drill to install the light.
m CaUTION! rISK OF INJUrY! Please read

the operating instructions for your drill.

 1. Turn the glass dome

off the light body

rotating it anticlockwise.

 2. Hold the light body

on to the wall and mark

the positions where the mounting holes are to
be drilled.

m CaUTION! Make sure that you do not damage

the cables in the wall.

 3. Now drill the mounting holes.
 4. Insert the dowels

into the drilled holes. If

necessary use a hammer to make this easier.

 5. Push the mains connecting cable through the

hole in the light body

and fix the lamp with

the screws with washers

into the dowels

 6. Now connect the mains connection cable to

the terminal block

Note: Ensure that each wire of the mains
connection cable is correctly connected:

Live wire, black / brown = symbol L,

Neutral wire, blue = symbol N,

Protective earth wire, green-yellow = symbol .

 7. When you mount the light to the wall, make

sure that the arrow on the information sticker
points upwards. The drainage hole

down vertically.

 8. Ensure that the plastic cover

has been

removed from the drainage hole

 9. Screw the bulbs

and check that the bulbs

Maintenance and cleaning

the light, switch the electricity supply off at the fuse
box or remove the screw-in fuses from the fuse box.

never be cleaned with water or other liquids, or
immersed in water.

CaUTION! rISK OF BUrNS! Switch the

light off. Allow the light to cool down completely
(at least 10 minutes).
Note: Use a clean, fluff-free cloth when you are
replacing a bulb

Always use 230 V ~ energy-saving lamps with

E 14 fittings and a maximum rated output of
9 watts.

Remove the glass dome

as described in

the section on “Installation”.

Remove the defective bulb

by turning it

anticlockwise and drawing it out of the socket

Insert a new bulb

into the socket

and turn it

clockwise. Check that the bulb is correctly seated.

Place the glass dome

back on to the light

body

as described in the section on

“Installation”.

Cleaning

CaUTION! rISK OF BUrNS! Switch the

light off. Allow the light to cool down completely
(at least 10 minutes).

Use a dry fluff-free cloth when you are cleaning.

Do not use solvents, petrol etc.
