Important!

NEVER jump onto the glass scale, this could irreparably
damage it.

1. Tap with your foot in the middle of the glass scales

until the indicator "8888" appears in the display

q

.

2. As soon as the indicator changes and "0.0" appears

in the display

q

, step onto the glass scale with

both feet. Stand as still as possible and without
displacing your weight.

3. During the weighing process, the indicated

weight increases until your personal weight is
shown.

4. When your personal weight has been determined,

the result blinks twice in the display

q

.

Warning indicators

Should your weight exceed the maximum weighing
capacity of 180 kg / 396 lb, "0 - Ld" is shown in
the display

q

. You should IMMEDIATELY step down

from the scale, otherwise it could be damaged.

When "L0" appears in the display

q

you must

replace the batteries.

Should the display

q

indicate "Err", the scale is not

able to measure your weight. In this case, step down
from the scale, wait a few seconds and then try again.
Take note that you need to both stand still and not
interrupt the weighing procedure.

Replacing the batteries

1. Open the battery compartment

r

by sliding the

cover in the direction of the arrow and then
removing it.

2. Remove the old battery from the battery

compartment

r

.

3. Insert a new battery of the type CR 2032 into

the battery compartment

r

. Pay heed to the

correct polarity. This is marked in the battery
compartment

r

.

4. Slide the cover back on to the battery com-

partment

r

until it firmly engages.

Usage and safe-keeping

• Take note that the weighing results from different

glass scales can vary slightly from each other.

• Avoid unnecessary battery discharge.

Accordingly, do not place objects on the glass
scale when it is not being used.
Remove the battery if you do not intend to use
the scale for an extended period.

• Keep the glass scale at a clean and dry location.
• Avoid electrostatic charging.
• Your glass scale is a sensitive electronic appliance.

As such, it can occasionally be disturbed by other
high-frequency devices that are being operated
in the immediate vicinity (e.g. mobile telephones,
CB radio stations, radio remote controls and
microwave ovens).

Should irregular or inaccurate details be indicated in
the display

q

, either remove the glass scale from

the source of the disturbance or switch the source
of the disturbance off whilst you are using the
appliance.
