Malfunction causes and remedies
The following table will help with localizing and remedying minor
malfunctions:
Defect Possible cause Solution
No sound is
coming from
the head-
phones
The playback device is
not switched on. Switch the playback
device on.
The volume control of
the playback device is
set to minimum volume.
Turn the volume up on
the playback device.
The 3.5 mm jackplug 4
is not fully inserted into
the playback device's
headphone socket.
Insert the 3.5 mm jack-
plug
4 fully into the
socket.
Sound is com-
ing only from
one side of the
headphones.
The Stereo-Balance-
Control on the playback
device is incorrectly
adjusted.
Adjust it to the setting
you desire.
The 3.5 mm jackplug 4
is not fully inserted into
the playback device's
headphone socket.
Insert the 3.5 mm jack-
plug
4
fully into the
socket.
