Troubleshooting

 No sound can be heard.

The device is in standby mode. This can be determined by the orange Power LED. Switch the
device off and on again using the On/Off switch.

 No sound is coming from the plugged-in DVD player (loop-through operation).

The device is in standby mode. This can be determined by the orange Power LED. Switch the
device off using the On/Off button.

 The background music is played but no voice can be heard through the loudspeakers.

Switch the device on with the On/Off button. Check the microphone gain setting for the corre-
sponding microphone. Check if the switch on the microphone is set to "on".

 The music is distorted.

Turn the music volume control to the left.

 The music sounds good but the voice is distorted.

Turn the corresponding microphone gain control to the left.

 The loudspeakers emit a high whistling noise.

Feedback has occurred between the loudspeakers and microphone. There are different ways
to avoid this. Turn yourself and the microphone in a different direction. Move yourself and the
microphone away from the speakers. Turn the microphone gain control(s) to the left.

 The music or voice is too quiet.

The balance between the music and vocal volume can be adjusted with the music volume con-
trol on the SilverCrest SKS 15 B1. If you turn the control to the left or right, only the music vol-
ume is increased or lowered, while the vocal volume remains unchanged.

 No picture appears on your TV set and there is no sound.

Please check whether you have connected the correct SCART adapter to the TV set and DVD
player. Use the SCART adapter (INPUT) for your TV set and the SCART adapter (OUTPUT) for
your DVD player.
