Ensure that objects can never penetrate into the inside of the
appliance, particularly not metal hair clips, grips or hairpins.

If the appliance is being used in the bathroom, after use disconnect
the plug from the mains power socket, because the close proximity of
water represents a hazard, even when the appliance is switched off .
Under no circumstances should you use this appliance in the
close vicinity of baths, shower basins or other receptacles
containing water. The proximity of water presents a risk, even
when the appliance is switched off . As additional protection,
the installation of a faulty-current protection unit with an acti-
vation power rating of not more than 30 mA is recommended
for the power circuit in the bathroom. Ask your electrician for
advice.
