Cleaning

Always disconnect the plug

from the mains socket

before cleaning and allow

the unit to cool completely

before cleaning and storing

it!

To clean the outside of the unit, use a dry

or at most slightly damp, well-wrung cloth.

Then dry it well. Do not use aggressive or

abrasive cleaning agents.

If necessary, wipe off the cooled lamp with

a dry cloth.

Lamp Durability

All appliances are subject to rigorous

testing before leaving the factory. If you

use

the infrared lamp as described in these

instructions, the performance will remain

constant for the entire lifetime of approx.

300 constant operating hours

(= approx. 1200 applications of approx.

15 minutes).

The guarantee does not cover light bulbs.

Changing the Bulb

Before changing the bulb

disconnect the plug from the

mains socket. Only change

the bulb when it is cool!

Caution

Irradiation Distance

The distance should be such

that the heat is felt to be

comfortable. Generally, the

distance is 40 - 60 cm.

Generally, the minimum

clearance to 100 Watt

appliances is 60 cm.

Irradiation Duration

The best results are achieved

with a treatment of

2 x 15 minutes per day.

Heat treatment with

infrared light

This device is intended for localised heat

treatment.

Possible applications:

• Heat treatment to ease occasional mu-

scle tension, stiff muscles and joints.

• Ideal for treating the neck, shoulder and

lumbar region.

If no improvement is seen after 6-8

treatments, stop using the device and

consult your physician.

Caring for Your

Appearance

Healthy and cared for skin primarily

demands sufficient circulation. Daily

treatment with the infrared lamp proves

time and again to be indispensable for

beauty care, as this infrared heat has

depth effect.

The skin also takes in cosmetic com-

pounds more quickly if the infrared lamp

is used before and after application. It

makes no difference whether skin is dry

and greasy.

Massage – The effect of massage is

significantly increased by transitional or

simultaneous infrared irradiation. The

uscles are relaxed more. Bruising and the

undesired build-up of fat disappear more

quickly.

Important for the

Sportsman

If the infrared lamp is used when

participating in the various forms of sport,

the blood flow is intensified.

The infrared lamp can also be used during

a break, in conjunction with a massage, in

order to relieve tiredness, muscle cramp

and stiffness.

When Should I Seek

Medical Advice?

For serious conditions

(diabetes, skin cancer, heart

disease, acute inflammations,

multiple sclerosis, thrombosis,

blood clotting problems), skin

conditions or if seemingly

harmless symptoms last too

long, you should consult your

doctor.
