Fault rectifi cation
This section contains important information on fault localisation and rectifi cation.
WARNING
Observe the following safety information to avoid risks and property damage:
► Repairs to electrical appliances may only be carried out by specialists trained

and can cause damage to the appliance.
Malfunction causes and remedies
The following table will help with localising and remedying minor malfunctions:

The appliance
will not switch
on.
The power adapter 10 is not
plugged in.
Plug the power adapter 10 into the
mains power socket.
The mains power socket is not
supplying power.
Check the house fuse.
Safety stop due to missing or
incorrectly inserted water tank

Ensure the water tank 7 is inserted
correctly.
The water tank 7 is full.
Empty the water tank 7 and reinsert
it into the appliance.
The appliance
produces no
or very little
condensate.
The air intake opening 5 or the
air outlet opening is soiled or
covered.
Ensure that the air intake and outlet
openings (
5 + ) are clean and
free of blockages.
Windows and doors in the room
are open.
Close the windows and doors.
