DANGER! Risk of electric
shock

• Only connect the plug-in power unit to

a properly installed and easily accessi-
ble wall socket, whose voltage corre-
sponds to the specifications on the
rating plate. The wall socket must con-
tinue to be easily accessible after the
device is plugged in.

• Ensure that the plug-in power unit ca-

ble cannot be damaged by sharp edg-
es or hot surfaces. Do not wrap the
plug-in power unit cable around the
device.

• When using the device, ensure that the

plug-in power unit cable cannot be
trapped or crushed.

• When removing the plug-in power unit

from the wall socket, always pull the
plug and never the cable.

• Pull the plug-in power unit out of the

wall socket, …
… if there is a fault,
… when you are not charging the de-

vice,

… during thunderstorms and
… before removing battery for dispos-

al.

• Do not use the device if there is visible

damage on the device, the plug-in
power unit, or the corresponding ca-
ble.

• If the plug-in power unit or the corre-

sponding cable of this device are dam-
aged, they must be replaced by the
manufacturer or its customer service
department or a similarly qualified per-
son, to prevent any hazard.

DANGER from batteries

• Do not expose the device to direct sun-

shine or heat. The ambient temperature
should not be lower than 0 °C or high-
er than +40 °C.

• The charge contacts on the device must

not be connected by metallic objects.

• The battery may only be charged with

the original accessory (power adap-
tor).

• When the battery has reached the end

of its service life, the battery must be
removed and the device and the bat-
tery must be disposed of (chapter "Dis-
posal" on page 11). Do not try to
replace the battery.

• The battery only removed for disposal

must not be reused or disassembled.

• Protect the battery against mechanical

damages. Fire hazard!

• Should the electrolyte solution leak out

of the battery, avoid contact with eyes,
mucous membranes and skin. Rinse im-
mediately with plenty of clean water
and consult a doctor. The electrolyte
solution can cause irritation.

• The removed battery must not be

thrown into a fire or short-circuited. The
battery may overheat and explode.

WARNING! Risk of injury

• Place the plug-in power unit cable in

such a way that no one trips over it or
steps on it.

• Do not switch on the device if the shav-

ing head has been flipped open.

• The cutting blades are sharp. Handle

with care.

• Do not use the device if the shaving foil

or the shaving head are damaged.

• Do not use the device on open

wounds, cuts, sunburn or blisters.
