Safety instructions

RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK

Connect the appliance only to mains power sockets supplying a
mains power voltage of 220 - 240 V ~ / 50 Hz.

In the event of operating malfunctions, and before cleaning the
appliance, disconnect the plug from the mains power socket.

To disconnect the power cable, always pull the plug from the
socket, do not pull the power cable itself.

Ensure that the power cable does not become wet or moist use.
Route the cable in such a way that it cannot be crushed or damaged.

Should the appliance, the power cable or the plug become dam-
aged, arrange for them to be repaired by Customer Services to
avoid hazardous situations.

Do not use the appliance outdoors.

Do not use extension cables – this will make it easier to disconnect
the appliance quickly in an emergency.

Never get hold of the appliance, the power cable or the power
plug with wet hands.

Do not crimp or crush the power cable, and route the cable so
that it cannot be stepped on or tripped over.

Do not wrap the power cable around the appliance, and protect
it from being damaged. Under no circumstances must the appli-
ance be submersed in fl uids or fl uids be allowed to permeate the
housing. The appliance must not be exposed to moisture or used
outdoors. If the housing is penetrated by liquid, disconnect the
appliance from the mains power socket immediately and have it
repaired by a qualifi ed technician.

Unplug the appliance immediately after use. The appliance is
completely free of electrical power ONLY when unplugged.
