You must not open or repair the housing of the
hairdryer. If you do so, the safety of the appli-
ance is no longer assured and the warranty
will become void. Arrange for the hairdryer
to be serviced and repaired only by qualifi ed
specialists.
Never use the appliance near water, especial-
ly in vicinity of sinks, baths or other similar
vessels. The proximity of water is hazardous,
even if the appliance is switched off . Always
disconnect the plug from the mains power
socket after use. As additional protection,
the installation of a residual current circuit-
breaker with an activation power rating of
not more than 30 mA is recommended for
the power circuit in the bathroom. Ask your
electrician for advice.
