Älä heitä käytettyä tuotetta talousjät-

Akkujen väärä hävittäminen
aiheuttaa ympäristövahin-
koja!
Paristoja ei saa hävittää talousjätteenä. Ne voi-
vat sisältää myrkyllisiä raskasmetalleja ja ne kuu-
luvat ongelmajätekäsittelyyn. Raskasmetallien
kemialliset merkit ovat seuraavat: Cd = kad-
mium, Hg = elohopea, Pb = lyijy. Toimita tästä
syystä vanhat paristot kunnalliseen keräyspistee-
seen.
Takuu
Laite on valmistettu huolellisesti tiukkojen laatudi-
rektiivien mukaan ja tarkistettu huolella ennen
toimitusta. Jos tuote on virheellinen, sinulla on
ostajana lakisääteiset oikeudet esittää vaatimuk-
sia tuotteen myyjää kohtaan. Seuraavassa esi-
tetty takuu ei rajoita lakisääteisiä oikeuksiasi.
Laitteelle myönnetty takuu on voimassa 3 vuotta
ostopäivästä lukien. Takuun voimassaolo alkaa
tuotteen ostopäivästä. Säilytä aina alkuperäinen
kassakuitti. Se toimii todisteena tehdystä ostok-
sesta.
Jos 3 vuoden sisällä tuotteen ostopäivästä al-
kaen tuotteesta löytyy materiaali- tai valmistus-
virhe, korjaamme tuotteen ilmaiseksi tai
toimitamme tilalle uuden tuotteen harkintamme
mukaan. Takuu raukeaa, jos tuote on vioittunut
asiattoman käytön tai huollon vuoksi.
Takuu koskee materiaali- ja valmistusvirheitä. Ta-
kuu ei kata tuotteen osia, jotka kuluvat normaa-
lissa käytössä ja siitä syystä pidetään kuluvina
osina (esim. paristot) tai vaurioita särkyvissä
osissa esim. kytkimessä, akuissa tai lasista val-
mistetuissa osissa.
Käyttöesimerkkejä
Kulman mittaus
j Paina ON / OFF -painiketta 7 , kun haluat
käynnistää digitaalisen kulmamittarin.
j Irrota kiristysruuvi 2 mittausniveleltä kiertä-
mällä sitä vastapäivään .
j Irrota liikkuva mittausvarsi 1 ja vesivaaka
11 kevyesti toisistaan.
j Kierrä kiristysruuvia 2 niin kauan myötä-
päivään , kunnes haluttu vastus on saa-
vutettu.
Huomautus: Pidä huoli siitä, että liikkuva
mittausvarsi
1 ja vesivaaka 11 voidaan
vielä säätää.
j Aseta digitaalinen kulmamittari kahdelle toi-
siinsa liittyyvälle objektille (esim. puupalkki)
niin, että sekä liikkuva mittausvarsi
1 ja ve-
sivaaka 11 ovat koko pinnallaan objekteilla
(katso kuva C).
Huomautus: Mittausnivelen 2 on
tällöin oltava terävässä kulmassa.
- Voit pystysuoran mittauksen libelliltä 4 lu-
kea, onko objekti ojennettu pystysuoraan.
Huomautus: Täsmällistä pystysuoraa
mittausta varten libellin
4 ilmakuplan on
oltava tarkalleen keskellä rajoituslukeman
välissä.
LC-näyttö 9 näyttää ajankohtaisen
mitatun kulman.
Vesivaa’an käyttö
Voit käyttää sekä digitaalista kulmamittaria että
vesivaakaa.
j Aseta vesivaaka 11 halutulle tasolle.
- Voit pystysuoran 4 ja vaakasuoran mit-
tauksen libelliltä 5 lukea, onko objekti
ojennettu täsmälleen pysty- vai vaakasuo-
raan.
Huomautus: Täsmällistä pystysuoraa mit-
tausta varten libellin
4 , 5 ilmakuplan on
oltava tarkalleen keskellä rajoituslu keman
välissä.
Vikojen korjaus
- Laite sisältää herkkiä elektronisia kompo-
nentteja. Tästä syystä voi olla mahdollista,
että välittömässä läheisyydessä olevat
radiolähetinlaitteet häiritsevät laitetta.
Tällaisia voivat olla esim. matkapuhelimet,
radiopuhelimet, CB-radiolaitteet, radiokau-
kosäätimet / muut kaukosäätimet ja mi-
kroaaltolaitteet. Mikäli näytössä ilmenee
vikailmoituksia, poista tällaiset laitteet
laitteen ympäristöstä.
- Elektrostaattiset purkaukset voivat aiheuttaa
toimintahäiriöitä. Poista tällaisten toiminto-
häiriöiden esiintyessä paristo hetkeksi ja
aseta se sitten takaisin paikoilleen.
Puhdistus ja hoito
j Puhdista laite vain ulkopuolelta pehmeällä,
kuivalla ja nukkaantumattomalla liinalla.
j Älä missään tapauksessa käytä puhdistuk-
seen nesteitä äläkä mitään puhdistusainetta,
koska tämä vahingoittaa laitteen.
Jätehuolto
Pakkaus on ympäristöystävällista ma-
teriaalia, jonka voit viedä
paikalliseen kierrätyspisteeseen.
Saat lisätietoa käytettyjen tuotteiden jätehuolto-
mahdollisuuksista kunnan- tai kaupungintoimis-
tosta.
Käyttöönotto
Pariston paikoilleen
asetus / vaihto
Huomautus: Vaihda paristo, ellet käytä
laitetta pitempään aikaan. Paristot tyhjenevät tai
ruostuvat määrätyn ajan kuluttua.
Huomautus: Tarkista ennen paristojen
vaihtoa, että tuote on kytketty pois.
Huomautus: vaaka on varustettu ”pariston
vaihdon ilmaisimella”. LC-näytössä näkyy
(katso kuva D). Vaihda tässä tapauksessa van-
han pariston tilalle uusi samantyyppinen paristo.
j Poista paristotilan kansi 10 laitteelta.
j Vedä paristo tarvittaessa punaisen nauhan
avulla varovasti paristotilasta.
j Poista tarvittaessa käytetty paristo
paristopistokkeesta 12 .
j Liitä uusi 9 V lohkoparisto paristopistok-
keeseen 12 (katso kuva B). Tarkista paikoil-
leen asettaessasi, että napaisuus on oikea!
Huomautus: Pidä huoli siitä, että pistät
paristopistokkeen
12 kulmikkaan kontaktin
pariston pyöreään kontaktiin ja paristopis-
tokkeen
12 pyöreän kontaktin pariston kul-
mikkaaseen kontaktiin.
j Aseta paristot paristotilaan.
Huomautus: Tarkista, että punainen
nauha on pariston alla.
j Aseta paristotilan kansi 10 takaisin
paristotilalle.
Huomautus: Pidä huoli siitä, etteivät
paristopistokkeen

Digitaalisen kulmamittarin

kun haluat sammuttaa digitaalisen kulmamit-
tarin.

Arvon kestonäyttö
Huomautus: Huomioi, että digitaalisen
kulmamittarin on tätä toimintoa varten oltava

kytkentä Päälle / Pois”).

Anna korjaukset vain ammattiliikkeen
tehtäväksi.
J Älä vaurioita vesivaa’an libellejä. Jos libelli
on vioittunut, vältä kaikenlainen kosketus
libellissä olevan nesteen kanssa. Mutta jos
kuitenkin joudut sen kanssa kosketuksiin,
noudata ehdottomasti seuraavia ohjeita.
Ensiapu-toimenpiteet:
- IHOKOSKETUS: Roiskeet iholta on huuh-
deltava välittömästi vähintään 15 minuutin
ajan runsaasti saippuaa ja vettä käyttäen.
Mikäli ihon ärsyyntyminen on jatkuvaa,
hakeudu lääkärin hoitoon.
- SILMÄKOSKETUS: Roiskeet silmistä on
huuhdeltava välittömästi vähintään 15 mi-
nuutin ajan runsaalla vedellä. Pidä silmä
huuhdellessa auki peukalon ja etusormen
avulla. Mene välittömästi lääkäriin.
- HENGITETTYNÄ: Huolehdi välittömästi
riittävästä raittiin ilman saannista. Anna
hengitysvaikeuksissa puhdasta happea.
- KOSKETUS SUUONTELOON: Huuhdo
suuontelo välittömästi runsaalla vedellä,
jos henkilö on tajuissaan. Mene välittö-
mästi lääkäriin.
Paristojen

J Tyhjentyneet paristot on poistettava välittö-
mästi laitteesta. Ne voivat vuotaa paristoti-
laan!
J Paristot eivät kuulu talousjätteisiin!
J Jokainen kuluttaja on lain mukaan velvoitettu
hävittämään kaikki paristot määräystenmu-
kaisesti!
J Säilytä paristot lasten ulottumattomissa. Älä
koskaan heitä niitä tuleen äläkä oikosulje tai
pura niitä!
J Käytä vain samantyyppisiä paristoja.
J Jos laitteesi paristot ovat päässeet vuota-
maan, poista ne välittömästi, näin vältät lait-
teen vaurioitumisen!
J Vältä kosketusta ihoon, silmiin ja limakalvoi-
hin. Huuhtele paristohapon kanssa kosketuk-
siin joutuneet kohdat heti runsaalla vedellä

Digitaalinen vesivaaka
Johdanto
Tutustu laitteeseen ennen ensim-
mäistä käyttöönottoa. Lue sitä varten
tämä käyttöohje ja turvallisuusohjeet.
Käytä laitetta ainoastaan kuvatulla tavalla ja

Faulty or used batteries must be recycled in ac-

Environmental damage
through incorrect disposal of
the batteries!
Batteries may not be disposed of with the usual
domestic waste. They may contain toxic heavy
metals and are subject to hazardous waste treat-
ment rules and regulations. The chemical symbols
for heavy metals are as follows: Cd = cadmium,
Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. That is why you should
dispose of used batteries at a local collection
point.
Warranty
The device has been manufactured to strict qual-
ity guidelines and meticulously examined before
delivery. In the event of product defects you
have legal rights against the retailer of this prod-
uct. Your legal rights are not limited in any way
by our warranty detailed below.
The warranty for this device is 3 years from the
date of purchase. Should this device show any
fault in materials or manufacture within 3 years
from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace
it – at our choice – free of charge to you.
The warranty period begins on the date of pur-
chase. Please keep the original sales receipt in a
safe location. This document is required as your
proof of purchase. This warranty becomes void if
the device has been damaged or improperly
used or maintained.
The warranty applies to faults in material or
manufacture. This warranty does not cover prod-
uct parts subject to normal wear, thus possibly
considered consumables (e.g. batteries) or for dam-
age to fragile parts, e.g. switches, rechargeable
batteries or glass parts.
Press the HOLD button 6 to retain the
current angle on the LC display 9 . The
word HOLD appears on the LC display 9 .
Note: the set angle remains on the LC dis-
play
9 even if you alter the position of the
moveable measuring arm 1 .
Press the HOLD button 6 again. The value
displayed on the LC display 9 now
changes again according to adjustment of
the moveable measuring arm
1 .
Examples of use
Measuring angles
Press the ON / OFF button 7 to switch the
digital measuring gauge on.
Release the tensioning screw 2 on the
measuring arm joint by turning it anticlock-
wise .
Pull the moveable measuring arm 1 and
spirit level 11 slightly apart.
Turn the tensioning screw 2 clockwise
until it reaches the required resistance.
Note: make sure that adjustment of the
moveable measuring arm
1 and spirit
level 11 is still possible.
Position the digital angle gauge on two
converging objects (e.g. wooden beams) so
that both the moveable measuring arm
1
and the spirit level 11 lie flat on the sur-
faces (see Fig. C).
Note: the measuring arm joint 2 must be
positioned inside the sharp angle.
– The spirit level for vertical alignment 4
shows whether the object is aligned
vertically.
Note: for exact vertical alignment, the air
bubble in the spirit level
4 must be exactly
in the middle of the two lines.
The LC display 9 indicates the actual
measured angle.
Using the spirit level
You can also use the digital angle gauge as a
spirit level.
Place the spirit level 11 against the surface
you wish to check.
– The spirit levels for vertical 4 and horizon-
tal 5 alignment show whether the surface
is exactly vertical or horizontal.
Note: for exact alignment, the air bubble
in the spirit level
4 , 5 must be exactly in
the middle of the two lines.
Troubleshooting
– The instrument contains sensitive electronic
parts. Radio-transmission devices close to it
may therefore interfere with its operation.
Such devices include e.g. mobile phones,
radiophones, CB radios, radio-controlled re-
mote controls / other remote controls and
microwaves. If errors occur in the display,
remove any such sources of interference
from the vicinity of the instrument.
– Electrostatic discharge can disrupt opera-
tion of the instrument. If malfunctions occur,
remove the battery for a brief time and then
replace it.
Cleaning and Maintenance
The device should only be cleaned on the
outside with a soft, dry and lint-free cloth.
Under no circumstances should you use liq-
uids or detergents, as these will damage the
device.
If the above instructions are not complied
with, the battery may discharge itself be-
yond its end voltage. There is a danger of
leaking. If the battery has leaked inside your
device, you should remove it immediately in
order to prevent damage to the device!
Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and mu-
cous membranes. Any parts of the body
coming into contact with battery acid
should be rinsed off with copious amounts
of water and / or a doctor contacted if
necessary!
Operation
Inserting / changing
the battery
Note: change the battery if you have not used
the instrument for any length of time. Batteries
discharge or rust after a certain amount of time.
Note: always switch off the device before
changing the battery.
Note: The display indicates when it is time to
replace the battery. The LC display shows
(see Fig. D). If you see this message, replace the
exhausted battery with a new battery of the
same type.
Rem ove the battery compartment cover 10
from the instrument.
Pull the battery carefully out of the battery
compartment using the red ribbon if necessary.
Remove the used battery from the battery
connector 12 .
Connect a new 9 V block battery to the
battery connector 12 (see Fig. B). When
inserting the battery, ensure the correct
polarity!
Note: take care to plug the angular con-
tact on the battery connector
12 into the
round contact on the battery, and the round
contact on the battery connector
12 into
the angular contact on the battery.
Place the battery in the battery
compartment.
Note: take care that the red ribbon is
under the battery.
Replace the battery compartment cover 10
on the battery compartment.
Note: take care that the wires on the bat-
tery connector
12 and the red ribbon do
not get trapped.
Switching the digital
angle gauge ON / OFF
Note: the digital angle gauge switches itself off
automatically after approx. 5 min. if no button is
pressed or the angle altered within that time.
Press the ON / OFF button 7 to switch the
digital angle gauge on.
Press the ON / OFF button 7 again to
switch the digital angle gauge off.

DANGER TO LIFE! Batteries
can be swallowed, which may represent a
danger to life. If a battery has been swal-
lowed, medical help is required immediately.
This appliance can be used by children
aged from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervi-
sion or instruction concerning use of the ap-
pliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved. Children shall not play
with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.
Do not expose the device to
– extreme temperatures,
– strong vibrations,
– heavy mechanical loads,
– direct sunlight.
Otherwise there is a danger that the
device will be damaged.
Please note that the guarantee does not
cover damage caused by incorrect handling,
non-compliance with the operating instructions
or interference with the device by unauthor-
ised individuals.
Under no circumstances should you take the
device apart. Improper repairs may place
the user in considerable danger. Repairs
should only be carried out by specialist
personnel.
Do not damage the spirit levels. If the spirit
level is damaged, avoid coming into any
contact with the fluid that is in the spirit
level. Should you come into contact with it,
you must observe the following instructions.
First-aid measures with:
– SKIN CONTACT: Immediately clean the
affected area with lots of soap and water
for at least 15 minutes. If the skin contin-
ues to be irritated, go to a doctor.
– EYE CONTACT: Immediately rinse the
affected eye with lots of water for at least
15 minutes. Use your thumb and forefin-
ger to hold the affected eye open. Go to
a doctor immediately.
– INHALATION: Immediately get a
lot of fresh air. If there are respiratory
problems, use pure oxygen.
– CONTACT WITH THE ORAL CAVITY
(MOUTH): Immediately rinse the inside
of the mouth out with lots of water if the
person affected is conscious. Go to a
doctor immediately.
Safety Instructions
for the Battery
Remove the battery from the device if it is
not going to be used for a prolonged period.
CAUTION! DANGER OF EX-
PLOSION! The battery must
never be recharged!
Ensure correct polarity when inserting the
battery! This is indicated in the battery
compartment.
If necessary, clean the battery and device
contacts before inserting the battery.
Remove a spent battery immediately from
the device. There is an increased danger of
leaks!
Batteries must not be disposed of in the
normal domestic waste!
Every consumer is legally obliged to dis-
pose of batteries in the proper manner!
Keep the battery away from children;
do not throw it in the fire, short-circuit it or
take it apart.
Use batteries of the same type only.

Introduction
Familiarise yourself with the product
before using it for the first time. In
addition please refer carefully to the
operating instructions below and the safety ad-
vice. Use the product only as described and for
the indicated purpose. Keep these instructions in
a safe place. If you pass the product on to any-
one else, please ensure that you also pass on all
the documentation.
Intended use
This device is suitable for the horizontal and ver-
tical alignment of an object and for the measure-
ment of angles. Other types of use or product
modifications are not regarded as intended and
may lead to risks such as injuries and damages.
The manufacturer is not liable for any damages
caused by any use other than its intended pur-
pose. The product is not intended for commer-
cial use.
