Digital I/O Connections
ProtEX-MAX models with integrated P RO V U functionality have a 10 position terminal
block for connecting the digital inputs and outputs. See Model Number Descriptions
on page 4 for details on ProtEX-MAX integrated instruments.

The digital inputs are configured at the factory to function identi-
cally to the front panel pushbuttons in order to work with the
SafeTouch buttons. Changing the programming of the digital in-
puts will affect the function of the SafeTouch buttons.

formed in accordance with all agency requirements and applicable
national, state, and local codes to prevent damage to the meter
and ensure personnel safety.
