2. Operation
Note:
The legal regulations must be observed for hitching
and unhitching.
2.1 Hitching
x No personnel may be standing between the vehicles!
x Position the towing eye at the centre of the funnel.
x Unlock the one-handed pin and pull it out of the coupling.
x Secure the second trailer against rolling away.
x Reverse the tractor slowly until the towing eye and the body boring
are aligned.
x Insert the locking pin and secure it with the hook.
Check:
After hitching, the locking hook of the chain must be
in a vertical position (see Fig. 2).
2.2 Unhitching
x Secure the trailer against rolling away or extend the support feet.
x Release the one-handed pin and pull it out.
x Move the tractor vehicle forwards.
