CRYSTALVIEW USB INSTALLATION AND OPERATIONS MANUAL 3
This manual supplement explains the additional information needed to
install and configure the CrystalView USB product. Use this supplement in
conjunction with the supplied manual (CrystalView CAT5). The supplied
manual explains the additional features, set-up, and display capability of the
CrystalView USB.
System overview
The CrystalView USB is designed to extend a USB Keyboard, USB mouse,
and video monitor up to 1,000 feet away from a computer that has a USB
port for the keyboard and mouse.
CrystalView USB Features

Extend a USB, KVM station up to 1,000 feet away from a PCU.
Rear connectors for local and remote units
Connectors:
Remote Unit
 RJ45 – CAT-5 cable connection
 HD15F – KVM stations video monitor connection
 USB Type A – KVM stations keyboard and mouse connection
 9V power input jack
Local Single Unit
 RJ45 – CAT-5 cable connection
 HD15M – CPU video connection / KVM video connection
 USB Type A/B – CPU keyboard and mouse connections
– KVM keyboard and mouse connections
 5V power input jack
NOTE: Power adapters (Local & Remote) must be connected
