SNOOZE Function (Remote Control Only)

When the system turns ‘On’ automatically you may press the SNOOZE button on the remote control to stop

the radio or CD temporarily. After 9 minutes the system will turn ‘On’ again. The Snooze operation can be

repeated multiple times.

Note: If after the system turns ‘On’ automatically you press any other button before pressing the

SNOOZE button, the snooze function will be automatically disabled.

SLEEP Timer (Remote Control Only)

The Sleep timer can be used to shut the system off automatically after up to 2 hours (120 minutes) of

operation.

1.) Turn the system on and operate the TUNER or CD player as usual.

2.) Press the SLEEP button on the remote control. The SLEEP

indicator appears in the display and the display shows “120”

indicating that the system will shut off after 120 minutes.

3.) To reduce the sleep timer operation continue pressing the sleep button to step down from:

display returns to the tuner or CD mode, but the SLEEP indicator remains in the display.

4.) When the sleep timer counts down to “00” the power shuts off automatically. To shut the system off

manually before the sleep timer reaches “00”, press the POWER button as usual.

Note: If you set the sleep timer to operate the CD player for 120 minutes, but the CD you are playing

is only 40 minutes long, the music will stop when the CD ends.

PHONES

(Stereo Headphone) Jack

The stereo headphone jack is located on the left side of the Receiver/CD Player unit. Connect a pair of

stereo headphones, not included, to this jack for private listening without disturbing others. The speakers

are automatically disconnected when headphones are in use.

IMPORTANT: To protect your hearing always set the VOLUME control to a low level before connecting

the headphones. Then put the headphones on and gradually increase the volume to a comfortable

listening level.
