Application:

MPI's HUMP MAGNETS (MH Series) provide reliable and economical magnetic separation of tramp iron contaminates in low-to high-volume product flows in gravity-
fed chutes. They are ideal for separating various sizes of contaminant from ferrous fines to larger pieces of tramp iron in numerous industries, including food, feed,
grain, chemical, plastics, and textiles.

Operation:

MPI's Hump Magnets can significantly reduce downtime on production runs by filtering out ferrous contaminants that contribute to costly wear and tear on processing
equipment. As with all MPI separation equipment, our HM-series separators are engineered for easy installation, low maintenance and long service life. MPI's Hump
Separators use powerful plate magnets to eliminate ferrous contaminant from free-flowing materials in gravity-fed, angled chutes. An optional plate magnet adapter is
available to provide effortless operation with larger plate magnet sizes, during the cleaning cycle. There is no heavy lifting or handling, simply terminate the product
flow, release the clamps and slide out the magnet to discharge the ferrous contaminant.

Standard Features:
• Permanent Ceramic 8 magnet material
• Stainless steel housing
• Operating temperatures of 450º F
• 1" wide sealing flange around magnet along with heavy-duty clamps and gasket prevent product leakage
Optional Features:
• Magnet roller glide mechanism for easy operation with no heavy lifting or handling during magnet cleaning
• Pre-drilled matching companion flanges for easy installation
• Powerful Rare Earth magnet material
• Plexiglass inspection windows
• Self-cleaning designs
