Permanent Electro Batteries for Flat or Round Lifting
Applications:
The Permanent Electro Battery boasts the ergonomics of an electromagnet with the lifting safety of a permanent magnet. Use for
round bar lifting, plate lifting, block lifting and long bar lifting.
Simple operation
• To turn on the magnet: Press the green square "on" button for (2) seconds. This initiates magnetization of the unit. The green
"on" light will now illuminate.
• To turn off the magnet: Press the red square "off" button for (2) seconds.
Automatic operation:
• Press the "auto" button once. Once the round "auto" button has been pressed, all further "on/off" switches are done
automatically.
• If the crane hook is completely lowered and the shackle touches the block, the magnet will change its state from magnetized to
demagnetized and vice versa, as the load on the shackle is released. (There is a small time delay on these operations to prevent
accidental operation.)
Fail safe
The Eclipse Magnetics battery lifter is a Permanent Magnet device that requires power only for the switching cycle. No power is
drawn during either the "on" or "off" operation of the magnet. This vastly improves:
• Battery life
• Useful operational working time
• Reliability
• Use is limited to the number of operations, not the operational time
Build
The units are manufactured to meet with the demands of the application, providing a solid robust structure. All battery elements
used, however, are standard "off the shelf" types that should be available locally to you, should you require a replacement in the
future.
Performance
The lifters are available in a full range that will cater from 1.5 ton to 10 tons.
