Checking audio setup

To output the master sound and headphones monitor sound using
the supplied split cable, turn on the

[MONO SPLIT ON/OFF]

button at the top right of the rekordbox dj screen.

To play the master sound via your PC/Mac’s built-in speaker, or to
play it via a speaker with a built-in amplifier connected to your PC/
Mac, without using the split cable, turn off the

[MONO SPLIT

ON/OFF]

button.

Adding music files into your Collection

The

[Collection]

screen contains a list of music files managed by

rekordbox.
Add music files on your PC/Mac to your Collection so the software can
analyze them and they can be used in rekordbox.

1 Click

[Collection]

on the tree view.

A list of tracks in your

[Collection]

is displayed.

2 Open Finder (Mac) or Explorer (Windows) and drag music files, or

folders containing music files, into the track list.

Music files are added into

[Collection]

and analysis of waveform information

for music files begins. Wait until analysis of all music files is complete.

Loading an audio track onto a deck

Select a track in

[Collection]

and drag it into the track information

panel of a deck.
