How hp instant share e-mails images

The way images are e-mailed via

HP Instant Share

works

differently on Windows and Macintosh computers.

Windows

Images are not e-mailed as attachments. Rather, a message is

sent to each e-mail address or group distribution list that you

selected in the

Share

menu. The message contains thumbnail

images of the photos that you selected, as well as a link to a

web page where the recipient can view the images. From that

web page, the recipient can do things like reply to you, print

the images, save the images to a computer, forward the

images, and more. This makes it easy for people who use

different e-mail programs to be able to see your images

without the burden of handling e-mail attachments.

Macintosh

NOTE

If you are using a Macintosh computer, you must have

an active Internet e-mail account that is accessible when

e-mailing any images that you selected for

HP Instant

Share

e-mail

destinations.

Images are e-mailed as attachments directly to recipients using

the default e-mail program on your computer.
