Zero: Indicates the start of the dial and represents the surface of the water, or the top of the water column.

Reading Direction: Read the dial in a clockwise direction. The top of the Flasher Dial represents the top of
the water column, and as you read further around the dial, you are reading deeper into the water column.

Sonar Return Signals Close to Zero: These lines indicate minor activity close to the surface of the water
such as air bubbles, algae, seaweed, or turbulence.

Sonar Return Signals Displayed between Zero and Bottom: These sonar return signals can indicate your
jig, bait fish, and other fish swimming into the water column. The color of the lines, indicating the strength of
the sonar return signal, will vary depending on the size and density of the objects.

Sonar Return Signals Close to Bottom: The sonar return signal lines that are displayed near the bottom
can indicate softer return signals such as from vegetation, mud, or sand at the bottom of the water column.

Bottom Line: Bottom is usually indicated by a thick red line. Because the bottom is often a dense, hard object,
it will create a strong sonar return signal.

Depth: Shown in this example as 17 feet, the depth is continuously updated and can be read from the first
line of the bottom sonar return signal.
