TROUBLE SHOOTING

Clean and adjust gap, or replace Fouled spark plug
Clogged air cleaner Tap clean or replace air cleaner
Jammed due to foreign object
Loose blade
Defective belt
Defective quill bearings
Quill rod sticking
Loose parts
Damaged or worn blade
Clear obstruction
Tighten blade retaining nut
Replace V-belt
Replace the bearings
Lubricate tube and rod
Replace blade
Stop engine immediately; tighten
all bolts. If vibration continues,
take the unit into the nearest Ser-
vice Center
