SERVICING YOUR GENERATOR
Battery Removal
WARNING:
Wash hands after handling.
POSITIVE ( ) CABLE
NEGATIVE ( ) CABLE
MAINTENANCE COVER
COVER SCREW
BATTERY STRAP
BATTERY BOOT
Battery posts, terminals, and related accessories contain
lead and lead compounds.
Lift handle upward. Lock levers will lock and secure the handle into
place.
Loosen the cover screw and remove the battery maintenance cover.
Remove the negative ( ) cable from the battery first, and then
remove the positive ( ) cable from the battery.
Unhook the battery strap from the bottom hook of the generator.
Remove the battery from the battery tray.
