Pre-loading Program Data

When presetting channels is finished, perform the procedure to pre-load program data.
There are some preset channels which broadcast a TV program guide listing all active channels
in your area as well as broadcasting actual TV programs.
Pre-loading is the procedure to search for such a channel (host channel) and store the data on TV
programs in your VCR's memory.
When program data has been pre-loaded, you can use the Index Plus+ feature to display the titles
of the recorded programs on the TV screen.

1. Press MENU. The menu screen appears.

2. Press 4. This screen appears.

3. Use the number buttons to enter your local zip code. In this example, zip code 90001 has been
entered. Then, press 100/ENT.

The VCR searches for a channel which is broadcasting a TV program guide and stores the data
on programs automatically. The VCR's clock is also set and the current time appears in the
VCR's display.
If the current time is not displayed, but this screen appears, set the clock, referring to page 27.
After setting the clock is finished, perform the procedure to pre-load program data again.
