Blade Height Adjustment
The cut depth varies according to ground
conditions. The cutting blade should be
adjusted so it just touches the ground or
surface of the soil.
1. Move the ignition switch to the OFF (0)
position and disconnect the spark plug cap
(see page 22).
2. Turn the grip adjuster.
3. While holding the edger in the operating
position, rotate the debris shield until the
blade is at the appropriate height for the
working conditions.
4. The holder/protector must remain at least
1/2" (12 mm) above the sidewalk surface
when the stick edger is in the normal
operating position.
5. Tighten the grip adjuster.
6. Connect the spark plug cap.
