Measure suction and
discharge head.

Prime pump (p. 18 )

Replace suction hose
(p. 17 ).
Sink the strainer and
the end of a suction
hose completely
underwater.
Replace sealing washer
if missing or damaged.
Tighten hose connector
and clamp (p. 17 ).
Clean debris from
strainer.
Relocate pump and/or
hoses to reduce head
(p. 16, 55, 57 ).
