QL Blue

Blankets

A new buffed blue, compressible blanket
designed for the quality sheet fed offset
printer with high speed presses, is now
available from Hudson’s.

The Micro-Cel blanket consists of a
blended polymer surface applied to a
micro cellular compressible base. This
results in a blanket offering quick
release, good ink affinity and resilience.

The precision buffed surface provides a
micro-textured printing substrate that
enhances sheet and ink release. The
buffing also permits much greater gauge
control, with thickness tolerances of
+0.01 mm.

The unique fabric construction of the QL
Blue Blanket makes it less susceptible to
smashing and shrinking due to over
tightening or excessive tension.

DRL-2010*

Dry Run Lubricant

DRL-2010* forms a thin
lubricating film over all inking
surfaces throughout the
roller train and guards the
roller ends during running.

It protects rollers from
friction damage and heat
build-up on units running
without ink. Treated rollers
remain ink receptive.

The non-drying film protects
stored rollers from dirt,
moisture and oxidation for
very long periods.

DRL-2010* will not affect
the ink drying, gloss or
colour when used as
directed and cleans up
quickly with normal press
wash.

FBW-2010*

Fast Blanket and Roller
Wash

FBW-2010* is a fast,
efficient and highly
effective blanket and roller
wash designed for use on
all types of machines and
on all blankets and rollers.

It will not cause swelling or
delamination of blankets
and will not damage the
rubber or blankets.

When used regularly,
FBW-2010* will impede
glazing of blankets and
rollers, maintaining them in
a clean, matt condition
aiding their ink transfer
properties.
