Turn the power switch to “DVD”.

Recording begins.
To pause recording, press the record button again.
Hint
If the format confirmation screen appears after loading a new DVD-RW/+RW,
format the disc as guided through the LCD screens (p.36). Formatting is not
necessary when recording on a DVD-RAM/DVD-R.
