ONNECTING THE

AMERA TO A

VCR/DVR

AND

TV

Connect the 100 ft cable (supplied) to the camera.

Connect other end of the cable to the input on the VCR/DVR.
(yellow connector = video in; white connector = audio in)

Connect an AV cable (not supplied) from the VCR/DVR to the TV.

Connect the power supply cable (supplied) to the camera (red plug). Plug the
adapter into an electric outlet.

Make sure the power adapter is in a dry place.

Power on the VCR/DVR and TV.

Tune your TV to the correct INPUT (e.g., INPUT1) using your TV’s remote control.

Follow your manufacturer’s instructions to record to your VCR or DVR.

The camera has built-in infrared LEDs to allow you to view up to a distance of 16 ft at
night for 24-hour surveillance. The LEDs automatically activate at night and the picture
viewed turns to a black and white image.

ROUBLESHOOTING

Problem Solution

No picture.

Make sure the camera and TV are plugged in.
Make sure the TV/ VCR/ DVR is tuned to the

correct input channel.

Flickering image.

Move the camera or move any source of bright light

away from the camera.

Image is too light or dark.

Adjust the contrast and brightness on the TV.
Move the camera or move any source of bright light

away from the camera.

A white image appears at night.

The camera's infrared LEDs shine invisible light that

reflects off surfaces such as glass causing white

light.
Place the camera on the other side of windows or

place the lens flush against the surface to improve

night vision.
